For heavy-civil and sitework contractors

Stockpile and earthwork volumes from the air for Tampa Bay and Orlando sitework

A drone site scan gives you a measurable orthomosaic and a digital surface model of the whole site from one flight. On a Progress Plan, the volume tool turns that surface into stockpile and earthwork volumes for planning and progress tracking, with a CSV of the numbers for your own sheets.

  • FAA Part 107 pilots
  • 48-hour standard turnaround
  • Travel included within 40 miles of Riverview

Built for

  • Civil and sitework project managers
  • Estimators
  • Superintendents
  • Earthwork subcontractors

From $1,150 per site per month on a Progress Plan, which includes the volume tool. A one-off site scan starts at $895.

What you get

A surface model of the whole site

A digital surface model alongside every 1 cm/px orthomosaic, so every pile and every cut is measured from the same flight.

Volumes for planning and progress tracking

Draw a polygon around a pile or an area, choose a base plane, including your design surface, and apply compaction and swell factors. You get a 3D view and a CSV of the numbers. For pay quantities, have your licensed surveyor verify.

Ground control when the job calls for it

Accuracy is achievable with ground control: add RTK ground control points to the flight, and on a Progress Plan the accuracy report shows how the map checks against them.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scope the site

Tell us the site, how often it moves and whether you need ground control. We confirm airspace and access, then send a fixed quote.

  2. 02

    We fly and process

Our FAA Part 107 pilots fly the site and we build the orthomosaic and surface model.

  3. 03

    Measure in the portal

The map lands in your portal within 48 hours. Draw the volumes you need and take the CSV.

Questions

Before you ask

How accurate are drone stockpile volumes?

The orthomosaic is captured at 1 cm/px, and positional accuracy is achievable with ground control, which we add as RTK ground control points. Volumes are for planning and progress tracking; for pay quantities, have your licensed surveyor verify.

Can volumes be measured against our design surface?

Yes. On a Progress Plan you can load a design surface and use it as the base plane for a volume, so the number reads against the design rather than the ground as it is today.

Which plan includes the volume tool?

Volumes, design surfaces, ground control points and the accuracy report come with a Progress Plan, from $1,150 per site per month. A single site scan, from $895, includes the orthomosaic, the surface model and line measurements.

How fast do we get the numbers?

Standard turnaround is 48 hours from flight to portal, and a rush 24-hour turnaround is available as an add-on in the quote.

Do you work outside Tampa Bay?

Yes. Travel within 40 miles of Riverview is included; sites farther out, including the Orlando area, carry a mobilization fee that is waived on Progress Plans.
